Where Research, Teaching, and Technology meet - building to help minds learn, adapt, and recover.

I build technology that helps minds learn, adapt, and recover. As an Associate Professor at Murdoch University's School of Information Technology, my work spans immersive Extended Reality (AR/MR/VR), game technology, gamification, HCI/UX, spatial computing, AI applications, and digital twin technology - with current research using XR and AI-driven systems to support stroke rehabilitation and cognitive health for individuals experiencing memory loss, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease.

My path here has been multidisciplinary: a BEng in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Northumbria University, UK), an MSc in Information Technology/VR (Universiti Utara Malaysia), and an MSc in Architecture/VR and PhD in Environmental Design & Planning/VR (both Virginia Tech, USA).

I welcome collaboration with researchers, clinicians, industry partners, and prospective Honours/Master's/PhD students.
